With deference to the genius of David Bowie, here’s Space Oddity, recorded on Station. A last glimpse of the World.
Huge thanks in the making of the video to the talented trio of Emm Gryner, Joe Corcoran and Andrew Tidby, plus Evan Hadfield and all at the CSA.
Chris Hadfield will always be the astronaut of my heart.

If you haven’t seen the There She Is!! series—you have no idea what you are missing.
I saw the very first There She Is!! when I was very, very little. Internet was still new and my brother and I watched it together when we were allowed thirty minutes of internet time each. Years later, in middle school, I rediscovered it—only to find that there were now three episodes, and the fourth was very near to releasing. It was the cutest thing ever!
Until the Fourth Step came out and shattered my heart. ((HEH…))
This series of short films is extremely inspiring and touching, and even though I haven’t watched this is Alasvaster knows how long, I find myself humming their tunes quite often. And now that I’m older, I can see a much, much deeper meaning to all this.
It’s not just a cute story about a rabbit and a cat. It’s the human condition, and what we can do to right the wrongs.
((Easter Egg: Click the cloud on the Third Step after the video loads!! Alternate opening!))
ah i just watched these through again a few weeks ago and they still make me cry so much
if you have never seen them before, do yourself a favour and give them a watch
This is a really good series of cartoons that starts out lighthearted and silly and ends up having a strong message of love and equality. Watch them all if you get the chance!
Hey, look! It’s got a Wikipedia page! (I love this series, it’s one of the first things I found on the internet)

Had this stuck in my head all day. You can download the whole album here for free, courtesy of Quote-Unquote “Records,” which I think is the best name for a record company ever.
This is my contribution to fandomstuck.
[[amazing ;A; ]]
oh my GOD„„)
that is just so CUTE.
Oh my gosh.
That was pretty slick.
WHAT DID I JUST WATCH
Okay, I’ve watched this three five times in the past two days, so I think that makes me contractually obligated to reblog it.

BAHAHAH I FINISHED THIS DUMB THING
So for a while now I wanted to storyboard a version of the Jekyll and Hyde song “Confrontation” with my versions of Jekyll and Hyde. This is silly because:
—my designs of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde were not designed to match their incarnations in the Jekyll and Hyde musical and it totally shows
—my Hyde is SO TINY and hearing Anthony Warlow’s voice come out of him is surreal
—the pacing of this song is SO SLOW that it is really odd to time into an animatic
—I spent a lot of time on this before realizing any of these rather obvious things
This is so excellent!! Such great compositions and poses, and it goes with the music really well!
HOLY CRAP DO I WANT THIS!
Accurate summation of the first fourth of the Hobbit movie.
Harlem Shake (army edition)
I swore I wasn’t going to reblog any of these. Damn you, Army.

I maintain that this is the most beautiful rendition of this song I have ever heard… and yet I hardly see anyone singing the praises of Billy Boyd. So here is an appreciation post for him. You have a lovely voice, sir.
This is the song that made me fall in love with Pippin.
